Visit of Mrs Lady Bird Johnson, wife of Lyndon B. Johnson, president of the United States. After her visit, Mrs Johnson quickly visits the city of Montreal. She is intrigued by fences which the Mayor Drapeau bring up to hide certain pieces of waste ground invaded by a little aesthetic vegetation. her badly informed guide, explains to her that fences are set up to hide car parks. Mrs Johnson finds the brilliant idea and writes to her husband very evening that she found in Montreal a solution for certain grounds of car park which, to her opinion, deform Washington.

A group of 165 French Canadian living in Los Angeles came in special plane to visit the Expo.

So far, 45 million people visited the Expo
