 Day by Day

Monday October 9 1967

It is raining, it is cold, the strike of transport continues and the Mayor has just announced that the Expo 67 is going to continue in 1968 under the name of Man and His World. It is the day of weaker influx, just below 100,000 that is 97,870 visitors.

Special day dedicated to families and to clubs of service in which 50,000 pour children were able to visit the Exhibition. In this day, clubs bring 5,000 of Montreal and Sherbrooke to whom they offer games, rides and lunch on the island.

The Expo begins to worry about collectors of memories(souvenirs) of the last days of the Expo.
