The Marina

Expo'Marina situated downstream in La Ronde provides fingerslip moorings for at least 250 visiting crafts.

The crescent shaped basin has a two-level promenade on the inner curve. The lower level is for ducking, and on the upper level there are exhibits of sealing and power boats. A social club on the promenade houses restaurants, shops and boating servives.

From the upper level , approached by an avenue from the Carrefour International, Expo visitors can watch Marina activity.

Boat owners and theirs parties pay harbor dues on docking, and may buy their Expo admission passports at a control point. To accomodate as many visitors as possible, berths are available for a maximum of eight days.

All facilities which could conceivably be required by yachtsmen are available in the marina. There is a food store and ship chandlery store. There are maintenance and major repair facilities for vessels including a haul-out service. There are such personal services as laundromat, barber shop, hair dryers, rest rooms, showers, lockers.

Certain services, but not main restaurants or snack bars, are available 24 hours a day.
