 China Pavilion

The two-story Chinese Pavilion in Ile Sainte-Hélène, close to the Metro station, is designed to show how the people of the republic of China live and work, and their part in the story of Man and his World.

Architecture is traditional Chinese, and distinguished artists collaborated. There is a gay and attractive lobby, then an area devotd to agricultural products, with an exhibit on the contribution to other countries of the Republic of China's agricultural technical aid missions.

There's a introduction to a Chinese home and the Chinese way of life, and a comprehensive display of industrial products.

Beautiful Chinese girls show fashions, displaying unique patterns and colors in textiles.

On the upper floor, there is a fine exhibition of Chinese paintings, and display of musicals instruments, postage stamps and currency.

Opportunities for tourism are shown, and there is a treater screening movies on tourism, culture, art and economic development.

The display of world famous Chinese handicraft should not be mist.

Authentic Chinese foods and liquor are served in an attrative restaurant behind the main building.
