New York State Pavilion
There's a special invitation to Canadians to visit the Pavilion of New York state. It is in the nature of a veray warm message of friendship to a very close and good neighbor upon the occasion of its Centennial Year.
The motto of the exhibit - Welcome the Canadian neighbor!
The design of the pavilion situated near the Pavilion of the United States on ile Sainte-Hélène, is at once striking and architecturally simple. The main building is approached by a carrousel which revolves slowly past a series of exhibits designed to provide an introduction to New York State.
From the carrousel visitors past to the main building, keynoted by six circular towers joined at second floor level by a common roof.
Six principal exhibit areas tell the story of the state of New York.
There are sections devoted to vacationlands and the great variety of recreational activities, industrial development with emphasis of the success of Canadian firms established in New York State, and to international commerce with stress on the immense variety of products, consumer and industrial, which New York State manufactures.
A special information area is manned by skilled attendants, and many booklets on New York State are available.

Man and is World in 1969 - LSD
Drugs in contemporary North American society is the theme of this pavilion. The history of drugs is highlighted and the pavilion's objective is to inform and educate, rather than to preach.In a psychedelic atmosphere created through the use of light, sound and music, visitors observe displays of hallucinogenic drugs and such administering equipment as syringes and pipes. In one of the cells, visitors participate in a simulated drug "trip".
