The first port-of-call in a tour of La Ronde may be at Fort Edmonton-Pioneerland, sponsored by the city of Edmonton, Alberta.Here in a traditional western setting visitors are transported to the exiting days of the old Canadian West, where in action-packed saloons, general stores, barber shops and other typical period establishment a Gold Rush atmosphere lives again. One of the attractions nearby is the Flume Ride, a thrilling experience on a water-borne roller coaster.
