Transports

Minirail

The Minirail was the second main system transport of Expo 67. Contrary to the Expo Express which transported the passengers from an island to the other one, the Minirail, with its cruising speed in slow motion, allowed the visitors to see pavilions from the airs. It also was a good way to relax after a day of walking between pavilions.

There were several routes but the major one was the one which led from the island Notre-Dame to the island St. Helene. The cost of entry was 50 cents, the one at La Ronde which was shorter and who is still on service today, cost 25 cents.
